Sourcing of Wedding Location (Orchid Country Club)

We decided to have a look at Orchid Country Club this week.

The location is a little secluded without own transport.

Luckily, they provide shuttle service from Yishun MRT.

Met Roy at 1PM and went to see 2 different rooms (Emerald & Ruby).

Emerald faces the golf course and the view is awesome in the afternoon 

which is perfect for our wedding lunch.

Ruby has pillars blocking the view from the stage which isn't really ideal.

We have more or less summarized what we want.

OCC offered a comprehensive package!

They have 600 free parking lots (Cheers to all drivers!)

Environment was soothing enough and not really a run down place as we thought.

They fulfilled the 'simple' wedding we wanted.

No more site visiting, OCC is the one (",)V

Sourcing of Wedding Location (Hort Park)

We intend to hold a buffet lunch for our wedding reception, 

thus after sourcing online we decided to visit Hort Park due to it being open to external caterers.

The route to Hort Park required us to alight at Habourfront station and transfer to a bus.

However, it was raining really heavily and we decided to go shopping at Vivocity.

 After lunch at Swensen, the rain stopped.

We managed to find our way to Hort Park, but it was already evening.

This is the 1st time we visit Hort Park, quite a beautiful place but isolated location.

After viewing the place, we have decided that it was too small and inaccessible.

Hort Park was then eliminated from our list and we moved on.
